SingularityNET, a Decentralized artificial Intelligence (AI) firm and Cisco, widely known as tech Giant, have partnered to develop a technology known as applied artificial general intelligence (AGI) technology.
Artificial general intelligence is one part of artificial technology that focuses on learning the knowledgeable tasks which are capable by humans. Besides, it is sometimes denoted as “Strong AI.” Artificial general intelligence accentuates a machine’s capacity to reason in uncertain circumstances, can solve riddles, plan and express in ordinary language.
The CEO of SingularityNET, Dr. Ben Goertzel, said in an official statement that Cisco and SingularityNET see the potential in structuring AGI together. He said,
The scale of the AGI deployments needed by a partner like Cisco is going to be tremendous, and we are working hard to make sure our AGI tools and our blockchain-based platform is up to the task. This benefit may initially take the form of a generation of ‘Narrow AGI’ systems that infuse general intelligence into products in specific vertical markets like, say, advertising, medical research, and computer networking or financial analytic.
Regardless, SingularityNET’s foundation democratizes Artificial Intelligence by decentralizing its source, blocking any single power or player from computers ability to learn. Cisco and SingularityNET see the potential in structuring AGI together, as per Goertzel. He opined that this innovation is “expected to provide tremendous commercial benefit to whomever develops it.”
Over and above, SingularityNET has officially applied its technology in specific segments. In May, the Malaysia and Singapore division of Domino’s Pizza associated with SingularityNET to utilize the blockchain-fueled Artificial Intelligence Technology in its supply chain framework.
In the same month, Ping An, Chinese insurance Giant, associated with the firm in a collaboration that will reportedly concentrate on optical character acknowledgment, model training, and computer vision.
Further, Goertzel clarified that Cisco’s place on the global technology scene is what is required to kick start that goal. In 2005, SingularityNET founders, Goertzel begat and Cassio Pennachin created the term Artificial General Intelligence. Moreover, Cisco has taken over the procurement of Singularity Networks in last February.
Cisco Systems was established in 1984 was one of the first representatives of the blockchain consortium Hyperledger, driven by the Linux Foundation. Besides, Cisco is investigating how to distribute identity to streamline employee logins over more than 20 of the organization’s subsidiaries, yet Cisco’s clients themselves may some time or another use the support to review the transaction of the providers.
